CATS - Video Bombalurina

Finished this up earlier today. The wig was a commission for a customer and based on the video Bombalurina. I was surprised at how little red there actually was after studying some references, which explains the atypical amount of yellow here. I did a lot of custom blending to get shades that weren't candy-colored, although I'm not sure if that was captured in the photographs. Working with yarn is so time-consuming; it's a good thing my other commission will be made with crepe wool!

I'm not too happy with the make-up design; I think it looks too kittenish on my face. The application meets my standards, but I never particularly cared for the minimalist London designs. I like bold, busy, and colorful!

Also, for posterity, I'll say that the siren-red lips were added in post-production. I really didn't like the way that the coral tone I chose to match my reference looked with the wig and the backdrop. Too muted.

I've got three more projects due before Halloween, so this is by far the last you'll see of me!
