I know, I've been a non-entity here for a good while.  If I ever get my act together, I hope to change that.  It is still immensely flattering to me that people continue to watch me and favorite my work.

Anyway, I'm in need of some extra cash, since I'm currently unemployed and living on my own now to attend university. I have a couple of wigs for sale that I would really, really like to part with - a Bomba wig, a Cassandra wig, and a Jemima wig. If any of you are looking for a last-minute costume solution, I can ship out before Halloween.

Here's a link to my sale gallery and a basic list of photos and prices:

Bombalurina Wig - $50 OBO
Made with a blend of yarns (mostly Homespun) on a control top pantyhose base. Earflaps are cross-stitch fabric. This wig was completed in 2008 for a commission that fell through, but I decided to keep it for my own Broadway Bomba costume. It's still in great wearable condition. The ears can either be styled as they are shown above, or they can be tied off.
Jemima Wig - $60
Made with crepe wool on a control top pantyhose base. Earflaps are cross-stitch fabric. This wig was the first I made using crepe wool as a medium back in 2007, but it has proven itself quite durable and still looks good. It was restyled in 2010 when I overhauled the rest of the costume. In my opinion, it still wears well, and due to the stiffness of the earflaps, the wig tends to adhere to the side of the face nicely without the use of spirit gum or wig tape.
Cassandra Wig - $80 OBO
Made with crepe wool on a control-top pantyhose base. Earflaps are tulle. This wig was a challenge for me to create, and it took two years of intermittent working/reworking to complete for FC 2012. It has only been worn once, and has a couple of issues - one of the earflaps was sewn on the opposite side, so although the wig looks fine from the outside, the underside is a bit messy in its attachment to the wig base, and that flap is slightly narrower than the other, making spirit-gumming a bit challenging. It was also made when I had a pixy cut, so it would probably only suit someone with a tinier head (those with longer hair - be prepared to tackle pin curls). I'm sad to part with her, but she was a valuable learning experience, and I would like to create a new wig I'd be better satisfied with using the skills it taught me.

NOTE: Photos of my Demeter wig are featured in the gallery, but she has been sold.

For any additional inquiries, message me here.  Thanks for looking!
